100km de New York : Philippe fait briller le LSC !

Philippe Boulard a gagné les 100km de New York samedi dernier. Le capitaine de route du Levallois Sporting Club a réitéré un exploit vieux de neuf ans (il avait déjà gagné la course en 1998) en s’échappant dans le dernier tour. Son coéquipier Julien Levrard termine troisième, derrière le Colombien David Sarmiento. Philippe s’est durement entraîné pour décrocher ce résultat, notamment dans le sillage des cyclistes du bois de Boulogne : il va maintenant profiter de la pause hivernale, tout comme le reste de l’équipe !

Philippe Boulard did it again : he won the 100km of New York inline event, nine years after his first win in Big Apple in 1998. The French skater escaped in the ultimate lap, giving the chance to his team mate Julien Levrard (winner in 2006) to control the pack and to take the bronze (behind Colombian David Sarmiento). Philippe trained hard to achieve this result, following cycles in the Boulogne Parc in Paris during hours. He will now take some rest, just like the entire team, during the winter break!
